Photobucket Sunday Brunch @ Mews of Mayfair

One of Mayfair's Best Kept Secret ...

Tucked away in a historic courtyard in the heart of Mayfair, the converted mews houses
offer a very smart and stylish venue for any occasion.
Chic and Elegant, yet unpretentious...
a great discovery where we had a great Sunday Brunch!

For starters, I had the : Pan-fried fois gras & Poached Pear
{Fois Gras lovers - a dish to die for! }

Another option for starters was : Golden Seared Scallops served with Artichoke Puree

For Mains, as it was a Sunday Brunch, we could not go away without having :
The Traditional British Roast Beef served with Roasted Potatoes,
Caramelised carrots, Kale and of course Yorkshire Pudding with gravy on the side.

The presentation of the dish was very original and the beef was really soft and delicious!
The size of the dish seemed a bit small at the beginning but trust me ... it is just the right size!

For those who did not fancy beef, the other option available for mains was
the Saute of Tiger Prawns in Lemon Butter, Ginger and Herbs.
The Prawns were cooked to perfection and the seasoning of the sauce was just enough to hit the spot! Accompanied with some bread, exactly what was needed to clean the delicious sauce up!

And finally for dessert  {even though we hardly had space in our belly! } :
A selection of ice-cream and sorbet.

Overall an excellent dining experience!
The bill came a bit to the pricey range but it was all worth it
in such a luxurious yet cosy environment!
